Nitrocellulose, chemically known as cellulose nitrate, is primarily composed of refined cotton and moisture agents (such as ethanol, isopropanol, and water). It appears as a white or slightly yellow fluffy substance, is odorless, non-toxic, and biodegradable, making it an environmentally friendly material.

Nitrocellulose is the main raw material for producing nitrocellulose solutions and is mainly used in inks, wood coatings, leather finishing agents, various nitrocellulose coatings, fireworks, fuels, and everyday cosmetics.

2.Applications

  • Used for printing inks, leather, paints, rubber caps, typing wax paper, etc.
  • Used in the pharmaceutical industry, photographic films, photographic negatives, and leather.
  • Used for making educational supplies, daily necessities, instrument panels, etc.

4.Packing

Packaged in fiber drums (420x700mm) or iron drums (560x900mm).
Each drum weighs 120 kilograms, and a 20-foot container can load 9.6 tons.

5.Storage
Placed in sealed container and kept in a cool and dry place.
Avoid strong vibration, insolation, high temperature, smoke and fire.

6.Safety Precautions:
If directly contact with eyes, clean with running water;if directly contact with skin,wash skin with soap and water; remove the contaminated clothes; For severe case, transfer the person instantly to hospital.
